At the same time, we maintain the flexibility to react to unforeseen events or desired changes. Our own digital platform offers the possibility to organize the project work. It regulates the methodical cooperation of internal and external experts.

Regular reports, figures, data, and facts help to document progress promptly, keep it transparent and explain it in a comprehensible way.
Consulting
The idea had already revolutionized the automotive industry 100 years ago: To break down complexity into the smallest process units. We have transferred this approach to our consulting work. This ensures success and sustainable independence from specialists. Among our drawing cards are business field expansion, IT and organization and negotiation management. With field-tested techniques and data collection, you create new negotiating leeway for your business success. We are happy to work on a contingency basis, which means an additional profit opportunity for you. You are looking for qualified personnel, have a bottleneck situation or need support for a temporary project? We can help you with recruiting and employee contact. If you are overburdened with work or special knowledge is needed temporarily – we will be happy to advise you in terms of interim management. We have access to more than 80 interim managers and specialists who are experienced enough to find their way to the target in a short time. Your company is in trouble? We help with our change management. We are used to quickly picking up the thread in difficult situations, presenting credible plans and restoring confidence in the company and the people acting. Volker H. Wendland
Chief Executive Officer
After his education in business administration and IT, Volker Wendland started his career in sales and consulting. Shortly afterwards, he was entrusted with his first management tasks. After his first international positions in the management of sales and marketing departments of well-known Fortune 500 companies like Siemens, Philips, NCR he increasingly took on overall responsibility and the management of globally operating corporate units. From 1995 onwards, Volker Wendland assumed management responsibilities in internationally operating companies (Sensormatic Inc. USA – as CEO Central & East Europe, CEO of the JK Holding Group – globally responsible for the numerous companies of the group). At the same time, he has been a sought-after person of trust in international committees and supervisory boards.
Since 2008, Volker Wendland has headed iwp Consulting Group Aktiengesellschaft as CEO and partner. Volker Wendland is Chairman of the Advisory Board of MOWEA Modulare Windenergie GmbH, Berlin, a spin-off of the Technical University of Berlin. He is also a member of the advisory board of InCred GmbH, Leverkusen, a FinTec company in the field of commercial real estate financing. As a co-founder, he is developing a young start-up company that will market biomethane gas to produce green chemical products throughout Europe. He is currently developing another company that will develop and finance large-scale solar field projects and industrial solar roofs. Volker Wendland is co-founder of the WM Energy Forum, Berlin.
Günther Mand
Supervisory Board
Günther Mand began his professional career with the German tax authorities, graduating in 1974 with a degree in finance. In 1977, he founded the partnership Josef and Günther Mand, which became Mand Steuerberatungsgesellschaft m.b.H. in 2002. Numerous further training courses followed, including as a specialist consultant for corporate succession at the University of Münster and as a certified creditworthiness analyst.
Günther Mand has accompanied iwp Consulting Group AG in a wide variety of functions since its foundation. He took over as Chairman of the company’s Supervisory Board in 2016, succeeding his long-time predecessor Dr. jur. Matthias Terlau.
